Small Communities Fund “Open and Available”

President Doug Dobrowolski and Municipal Government Minister Drew Caldwell announced on May 8  that Manitoba’s second application intake under the Provincial -Territorial Infrastructure Component – Small Communities Fund (PTIC-SCF) is now open and applications are available.

The Small Communities Fund is part of the $10-billion Provincial-Territorial Infrastructure Component of the New Building Canada Fund.  It will provide $1 billion nationally for projects in municipalities with fewer than 100,000 residents to build projects that deliver on local needs.

The deadline for submitting an application under Manitoba’s second PTIC-SCF intake is May 29, 2015.
