EMPLOYEE BENEFITS INSURANCE

For over 40 years, Western Financial Group Insurance Solutions (WFGIS) has worked in partnership with the Association of Manitoba Municipalities to provide an innovative Employee Benefits Insurance Program to its members.

Under the AMM Employee Benefits Program, a large portion of premiums are allocated to a member-owned ‘self-insurance’ fund, which allows members the unique opportunity to circumvent traditional insurance costs and receive returns-of-premium when surpluses are built as a result of low-claiming years.

The AMM Employee Benefits Program provides Municipalities with a program that not only provides superior coverage, but also rate stability not seen on the open market.

FUEL PROGRAM

RMA Fuel is responsible for offering and managing the Association of Manitoba Municipalities fuel program for our members. Members have been purchasing from this program for +15 years.

RMA Fuel is one of the leading fuel and lubricant suppliers for municipalities, school divisions, and other public sector entities across Canada. The fuel program provides fuel and lubricants from coast to coast through local supplier networks that have been approved through an open RFP process.

Currently, the approved suppliers are Esso and Petro-Canada, with bulk fuel, cardlock, retail and lubricants being offered.

RMA Fuel was founded on the idea of group buying power and has partnered with government associations to increase volumes, thereby decreasing costs for members. Members are able to purchase at will, with no minimum purchasing requirements, and receive membership benefits.
