Where has the year gone? As President Ron Bell writes in his fall, 2007 report, “It seems like only a few short months ago that we were welcoming hundreds of newly elected municipal officials to our Annual Convention.” Here we are one year later and Convention is upon us again. Our 9th Annual Convention theme is “Mission: Possible!” and the fall, 2007 issue previews what promises to be another top-notch event for our membership.

This issue also introduces three new AMM Board Members; looks at how BizPal is simplifying things for Manitoba businesses; continues our “Anatomy of an Amalgamation” series, and profiles Manitoba youth who are not leaving their rural roots, but returning to them.
