Job Description:

The successful applicant will report to the Chief Administrative Officer and will be responsible for operating equipment and general responsibilities as listed below.  Physical strength and ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labour in all types of weather is required.

The successful applicant preferably will possess the following:

• Ability to operate all equipment vehicles necessary to perform routine assignments proficiently. Equipment vehicles include but are not limited to the backhoe, graders and gravel truck.
• Proficiency grading roads, gravelling roads, snow plowing and brushing.
• Experience performing excavation, laying and aligning pipes/culverts.
• Must have knowledge of work hazards and safety procedures.
• Possess or willing to obtain a Class 1 &/or Class 3 license with air brakes
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Experience and additional certificates or designations will be considered an asset.

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible.
