Desirable Certifications:
- Certificate in Manitoba Municipal Administration (CMMA)
- Certification or Diploma in Business Management, Human Resources, or Finance
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience in financial planning and budgeting
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of Municipal Administration & Law.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize
Responsibilities:
- Senior management for a municipal organization for multiple departments.
- Working effectively and providing strategic recommendations to elected officials, boards, or councils
- Developing, implementing, and ensuring organizational compliance for policies, bylaws, and resolutions.
- Human Resources Management in a Unionized Environment
- Attending Council and Committee Meetings – facilitating meetings, etc.
