MEMBER INFORMATION: In Memoriam Roll

In keeping with tradition, the AMM honours mayors, reeves, councillors and senior administrators (past or present) who have passed away during the year since the 2023 Annual Fall Convention.

These members will be recognized by our organization during the IN MEMORIAM portion of the 2024 Convention.

To prepare accordingly, we are able to accept submissions to the AMM office by Friday, November 15, 2024, no exceptions.

PRESENTATION PROPOSALS:

The AMM is accepting presentation proposals for our 26^th Annual Fall Convention, taking place November 25 to 27, 2024 at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg. Presentations will be part of the breakout session program, scheduled for Tuesday, November 26.

The convention agenda includes two blocks of time for breakout sessions, each with four concurrent sessions. A breakout session totals 60 minutes, and it is recommended that 15 to 20 minutes of the hour be dedicated to Q & A. Attendance at a breakout sessions is typically 80 to 120 delegates. It is expected that the presentation’s content be relevant to the role and work of municipal elected officials and the operation of municipalities.

A submission should include your organization’s name, a full description of the proposal, name/bio of presenter(s), and the main take-a-ways for delegates.

Submissions will be accepted until September 10, 2024. Please email your submission to events@amm.mb.ca. Presentations that are selected will be notified by AMM on or before October 4, 2024.
