GMC SEWER CLEANING/FLUSHER TRUCK - Town of Altona
This local ex-fire truck (1976 GMC) was converted into the town sewer flusher truck in the year 2000. It only has 19,628 miles on the original powertrain. Powered by the big block industrial 427 and backed by the Clark 5 speed overdrive (short 4) transmission, this truck has been built tough! This truck gets a fresh MB gov. safety every spring, so you know it's not going to need much, if anything.
The pump on this flusher is almost brand new, just installed in the winter of 2010/11. It is a Myers D50 3 cylinder pump with a new Myers adjustable regulator. Both have only 88 hours on them with bills to prove. The pump itself is powered by the tried and true Wisconsin 4 cylinder gas engine.
With over 1400 gallons of water on hand, and the 500ft. of Piranha sewer cleaning hose this unit will be perfect for your sewer maintenance program.
