The City of Flin Flon is looking for a positive, energetic, responsible individual who has a passion for quality and accuracy along with a strong background in the area of purchasing and inventory controls. This individual will work closely with Senior Management and all employees to assist in the planning, negotiating, costing, development and implementation of products, services and controls using a variety of industry best practices, personal experience, strongly developed skills and current technologies. You will assist with the development of the strategies, policies and future direction of the city to ensure that we remain competitive while demonstrating a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
This position requires strong supervisory skills and will work directly with the Chief Administrative Officer. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be required to work harmoniously with all other departments to the benefit of the organization and community as a whole.
