With Riding Mountain National Park on one side, and Asessippi Provincial Park on the other, and encompassing most of the Lake of the Prairies, the Rural Municipality of Riding Mountain West provides a wonderful tranquil atmosphere. Within the RM are the urban areas of Inglis (the municipal office location), Angusville, Dropmore, and Shellmouth.
