Recap of the 2007 Annual Convention

The AMM's 9th Annual Convention was an
exciting event that saw the acclaimation of Ron Bell as President and Doug Dobrowolski as Rural Vice-President, and the re-election of Shirley Kalyniuk as Urban Vice-President.

A total of 958 delegates attended this year to debate 35 resolutions (along with one brought forward on appeal). Attendees also enjoyed three amazing keynote addresses (Brian Thwaits, Marc Garneau and Peter Legge) and had the opportunity to attend a number of informative workshop sessions.

AMM 2007 Honourary Life Members
Jim Knight and Grant Buchanan are the 2007 recipients of the AMM Honourary Life Memberships. Both gentlemen were on hand to accept their awards during the AMM Gala Banquet on November 28, 2007.
