AMM Annual Convention
November 22 - 25, 2010
Winnipeg Convention Centre

Don't miss the AMM 12th Annual Convention - it all takes place from November 22-25 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre!

Our Convention theme this year is "Time to Lead" - a fitting attitude since our delegates this year will be made up of many new council members. With a municipal election on October 27, 2010, the AMM 12th Annual Convention will represent the first opportunity both new - and returning - elected officials will have to gather. And what an event it promises to be!

Our keynote speakers have been selected to deliver messages chosen to inspire leadership, our sponsors and suppliers have come forth to support us, and you - our members - have submitted resolutions so that we may engage in healthy dialogue and decision-making.

It is definitely Time to Lead - directly to the AMM 12th Annual Convention. See you there!

Ballot Box Barriers Forum - Tuesday, November 23

As part of the implementation of the action plan in AMM’s report Ballot Box Barriers the AMM will be hosting for the first time an opportunity for newly elected women and veteran elected women to meet and discuss issues in an informal setting.

This is a great chance for newly elected women to learn from the experiences of those women who have been on council for years. And of course, men are always welcome to attend as well!
