AMM Education: Respectful Workplace: Ending harassment and bullying
Workshop will take place at the Keystone Centre in Brandon, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
All Manitoba Employers are required to be compliant with harassment prevention and anti-bullying legislation. These requirements known as “Respectful Workplace” ensure a safe and productive environment for all workers. This training, customized for municipalities to reflect the legislative differences between elected officials and administrators, will provide participants with:
Understanding of Manitoba’s legislative requirements (Human Rights and Workplace Safety and Health) regarding anti-harassment and anti-bullying
Rights and responsibilities of employers and employees
Characteristics of a respectful workplace
The impacts of disrespectful, harassing or bullying behaviours
Addressing harassment and bullying-complaints and complaint resolution
Templated respectful workplace policy
