The dialogue resumes for mayors, reeves and CAO’s, during this year’s Mayors, Reeves and CAOs meetings. The AMM Board of Directors are eager to hear from you, and we encourage every municipality to register and send representatives.

April 4 - MGRA & CPWA-MB Chapter Event - 9am to 12pm
The Manitoba Good Roads Association (MGRA) in partnership with Canadian Public Works Association (CPWA)-Manitoba Chapter, invites members of your municipality’s Public Works to attend a half-day, professional development seminar for Public Works Professionals (managers, supervisors, employees).

April 4 - AMM Trade Show for Public Works Employees
Employees from municipal Public Works Department who wish to attend the Municipal Trade Show event on April 4 (10am to 5pm in Hall A) can take in the Trade Show, lunch, and the Municipal Mixer.
$50 plus GST per person, and is applicable to Public Works employees only. Registration deadline: March 27, 2023 – now closed.
April 5 - Women in Municipal Government Lunch - Registration is now closed for this event.
As 45 per cent of elected officials are new to their role, this event will act as a great opportunity to network with your counterparts and learn from them.
Plan to attend this lunch event that will include welcome remarks by AMM President Kam Blight, ministerial greetings on behalf of the provincial government, and a panel discussion featuring four female municipal elected officials.
The dialogue will explore strategies to ensure all voices are equally represented around the Council table, while underscoring the importance of mentorship opportunities and how we can all work together to help influence and encourage leaders to drive change.

Delegates registered for the AMM Spring Convention do not need to pay for this event but must pre-register as seating is limited.
$50 plus GST per person for anyone not registered for the Spring Convention. AMM will invoice following the event.
