General municipal elections are held every four years on the fourth Wednesday in October. This includes elections for mayors / reeves and councillors.
Elections in the resort communities of Winnipeg Beach, Dunnottar, and Victoria Beach are held on the fourth Friday in July. Election Day in these communities was Friday, July 23, 2010.
