AMM joins CAA to launch “Worst Roads” campaign

President Chris Goertzen joined CAA Manitoba on March 9 to urge Manitobans to make infrastructure issues reasons to vote in the Manitoba provincial election in April. In launching its annual Worst Roads campaign, CAA’s Tim Scott noted “it’s more than just potholes, it’s all types of infrastructure projects.”

President Goertzen welcomed the opportunity to support CAA Manitoba in their push for improved infrastructure. “Local Councils are responsible for 60 percent of infrastructure in Manitoba yet receive just 8 cents of every tax dollar to get the job done,” he said. “In launching our own Fair Share – Fair Say campaign, we hope Manitobans will join us in speaking out in favour of correcting this unfairness for our citizens.”
